Course Content
- Identify and describe the key equipment and tools of a professional bar
- Identify and describe characteristics and production methods of the main spirits categories and liqueurs used in bars and restaurants
- Prepare classic cocktails served in bars and restaurants
- Serve, advise, and prepare a wide selection of alcohol-based drinks including cocktails and liqueurs
- Study host responsibility as required by the Sale of Alcohol Act 2012
- Develop customer service and communication skills relevant to hospitality workplaces
