Graduates are prepared for diverse careers in contemporary art, with the skills to exhibit, manage art projects, and operate professionally in local and international contexts.

Students develop their own studio practice through research, critique, and supervisory guidance throughout the programme.

The Master of Fine Arts at Whitecliffe is a full-time, two-year programme delivered primarily at a distance with four week-long, on-campus seminars each year. Students are supported by both faculty and guest supervisors and engage in comprehensive studio research, critical theory, and contextual studies. The programme develops individual artist practices through interdisciplinary interaction, regular critique, and a focus on exhibition and publication. Graduates are equipped for professional practice across diverse art contexts, locally and internationally.

Bachelor of Arts degree (or equivalent) with a GPA of final undergraduate year (Level 7 credits) of B- and above (GPA of 4)
