The Bachelor of Fine Arts at Whitecliffe encourages the emergence of a meaningful artistic practice through exploration of creative media and processes. What you need to know first

Portfolio of original artwork

Letter of intent

Interview (in-person or video conference)

NCEA University Entrance or equivalent (including Literacy – 10 credits at level 2 or above: 5 in reading, 5 in writing)

Subject endorsement in at least one Level 3 Visual Arts subject preferred

Alternatively, relevant industry experience with portfolio for applicants over 20 years

International applicants: must turn 18 in first year, proof of qualifications equivalent to domestic entry, meet English requirements (IELTS Academic 6.0, no band below 5.5), and NZ visa eligibility
