Course Content
- Visual Art: 2D technologies (painting, drawing, printmaking), 3D construction, digital technologies, installation and exhibition practice
- Graphic Design: Design foundations, team projects for client briefs, branding, illustration, packaging, photography, digital illustration, animation, studio practice
- Fashion Design: Garment design and creation, runway/wardrobe/costume development, textile design, construction techniques
- Business practices for creative industries: pitching, presenting concepts, client relationship management, keeping up with industry trends
- Networking through industry events, exhibitions, festivals, and digital platforms
What you need to know first
Portfolio of 10 pieces of original work
University Entrance or successful completion of Certificate in Art and Design (Level 4)
Evidence of literacy skills may be required
Special admission possible for applicants over 20 or those deemed capable by staff
