What You're Signing Up For

The Introduction to Ceramics Night Class at Otago Polytechnic offers hands-on experimentation in ceramic techniques, suitable for all experience levels from beginners to advanced artists. The course covers hand-building, throwing on the wheel, glaze mixing and application, and some firing methods, with all classes held in a well-equipped art studio. Classes run during school term time, with separate enrolment required per term. Tools are provided; clay and glaze materials incur additional costs. This is a practical, studio-based course taught by an experienced ceramics tutor.
