What You're Signing Up For

This night class is designed for students with prior experience in ceramics, offering an emphasis on hands-on experimentation in clay-making workshops. Under guidance from an experienced tutor, students will build on their existing knowledge in a well-equipped, safe, and sociable ceramics studio. Skills taught include advanced hand-building techniques, wheel throwing, glaze mixing and application, and firing techniques. Students work individually with the tutor to further their expertise. Materials such as clay and glaze are provided for an extra fee. This course operates one term at a time, with sessions on Thursday evenings at the Dunedin School of Art.
