What You're Signing Up For
The NZ Certificate in Arts and Design (Level 3) is a 17-week full-time, project-based programme ideal for school leavers or adults seeking an introduction to creative arts. Students develop skills in art, design, digital production and fashion through varied projects. The programme introduces the local and global creative sector context and prepares graduates to apply creative techniques, solve problems in response to briefs, demonstrate introductory work practices, collaborate and present creative work. Subject areas include painting, drawing, textiles, digital production, printmaking, clay/small object design, and portfolio development. Successful completion supports entry to higher level creative qualifications or entry-level creative industry employment.

Open entry programme, minimum age 16 years
English language proficiency demonstrated by study, NZ Certificate in English Language Level 3, IELTS 5.0 Academic (no band below 5.0), or EIT assessment
