The Diploma in Tourism and Travel Management provides students with advanced skills and knowledge to excel in the tourism and travel industry, both within New Zealand and internationally. Covering key industry functions such as communication and marketing, environmental sustainability, Māori culture, visitor experience creation, and strategic leadership, the course prepares graduates for diverse roles in tourism operations, management, and sales. It includes practical components such as internships, study tours, and opportunities to participate in industry job fairs.
