Apply skills to contribute to the delivery of outstanding tourism experiences for visitors, with some responsibility for quality and customer satisfaction.

Demonstrate knowledge of tourism business systems and processes and apply understanding of workplace operations in the tourism context.

Apply in-depth knowledge about major New Zealand tourism destinations for visitor engagement and support.
The NZ Certificate in Tourism (Level 4) is designed to equip students with skills for a variety of roles in the tourism industry, enabling them to enhance the customer experience, understand business operations, and apply in-depth knowledge of New Zealand destinations. The programme includes first aid training and prepares graduates for employment in tourism or further study.
What you need to know first
40 credits at NCEA Level 1, including 10 Literacy and 10 Numeracy credits
NZ2199 Certificate in Tourism (Level 3)
Relevant qualification at NZQF Level 2 or above
