The Postgraduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching (PGCertTertTchg) at UC is designed for current tertiary educators, equipping them to reflect on current research in teaching and learning, justify teaching approaches and assessments, and continuously improve their teaching practice. Through shared inquiry, collaborative learning, and reflective practice, students learn about frameworks of learning, constructive alignment, course and learning design, and research-based evaluation of teaching. The certificate covers four compulsory courses and is suitable for those seeking to deepen their professional teaching skills or prepare for further qualifications in education.
