AUT’s Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching and Learning is designed for graduates seeking to become qualified teachers in either early childhood or primary/intermediate education. The programme covers educational theory, curriculum, professional practice, social justice and inclusion, te reo Māori, and includes teaching practicums. On completion, graduates can apply for provisional registration with the Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand.
