What You're Signing Up For
The Certificate in Exercise (Level 5) equips students with advanced skills in exercise prescription, programme design, and delivery for various exercise environments. Graduates are well-prepared to work as personal trainers or exercise consultants and can register with the New Zealand Register of Exercise Professionals.

What you need to know first
New Zealand Certificate in Exercise (Level 4) or recognised equivalent
Relevant work experience may be considered
Discretionary entrance available for candidates with sufficient potential
IELTS 5.5 (with no individual band less than 5.0) or other proof of English proficiency for non-native speakers
Safety checks under the Vulnerable Children Act 2014
First aid certificate (to be completed within the first four weeks of the semester)
