The New Zealand Certificate in Snowsport Equipment (Level 4) is tailored for experienced technicians and bootfitters in the snowsport sector. Learners develop advanced skills in servicing, tuning, repairing, and custom-fitting equipment for skiers and snowboarders. The course features core modules alongside electives in either workshop technical skills or bootfitting specialisation, delivered and assessed on-the-job through industry employers.

- Health and safety in the snowsport equipment environment
- Complex tuning, repairs, and maintenance of high performance snowsport equipment (Workshop Technician elective)
- Advanced workshop tools and equipment (Workshop Technician elective)
- Complex binding placements and mounting techniques (Workshop Technician elective)
- Detailed foot analysis for boot selection (Bootfitting elective)
- Complex shell analysis and boot customisation (Bootfitting elective)
