- Field Training (theory and six-day practical block course)
- Integrated Practical Application (seven-day final practical block course)
What you need to know first
New Zealand Certificate in Avalanche Risk Management (Level 5) or equivalent
English language requirements: New Zealand University Entrance, or IELTS 6.0 (no band lower than 5.5) or acceptable alternative evidence
Desirable: Evidence of 100 days of using Level 5 skillset, preferably in an operational and mentored environment
