What You're Signing Up For

Athletes are increasingly aware of the cumulative benefits of massage and its ability to enhance muscle relaxation, condition and recovery. In this practical course at AUT you will learn the latest massage techniques and soft tissue therapy for whole-body treatment. Sessions include treating athletes in clinical and field settings. Students receive 11 REPS CEC credits.

  • Soft Tissue Therapy (STT)
  • Practical application in clinical and sporting environments

What you need to know first

Certificate of Proficiency in Fitness Foundations (or an acceptable equivalent qualification) for a basic understanding of anatomy and physiology.
