What You're Signing Up For
The Bachelor of Sport and Recreation (Honours) at AUT is a postgraduate programme for high-achieving students with a Bachelor of Sport and Recreation. It advances your skills in sport and recreation through research-led coursework, a supervised research project, and advanced topics in leadership, management, nutrition, exercise science, outdoor learning and sport psychology. The programme prepares you for a range of exciting careers in the sport and recreation sector and provides a direct pathway to the PhD.

- Advanced Sport Leadership and Management
- Integrative Research or Māori Health Research Practice or Pacific Health Research and Design
- Quantitative Research or Qualitative Research
- Selection of advanced electives in nutrition, exercise physiology, sport event management, outdoor learning, applied sport psychology, performance analysis, and strength and conditioning
- Honours Research Project

Bachelor of Sport and Recreation with a B+ grade average or higher in level 7 courses or equivalent
