What You're Signing Up For

This apprenticeship equips experienced staff in social services roles to engage with and assist people, families, and communities. Learners develop skills in communication, reflective practice, and cultural understanding, supporting autonomy and resilience in others. Workplace learning is supported by advisors and online resources, leading to a nationally-recognised qualification at NZQA Level 4.

What you need to know first

Must be currently employed in a social services role (e.g. family violence support worker, welfare worker, refugee support worker)

Employer support is required for enrolment

Should have existing technical skills and experience in social/community services
