This Design Thinking micro-credential teaches a practical creative problem-solving approach that involves empathising, defining, ideating, prototyping, and testing to develop better and more innovative products, services, processes, and systems. It is highly relevant across all sectors and provides skills to creatively solve problems through convergent and divergent thinking, critical reflection, application of a Kaupapa Māori approach, and delivering a solution to a real-world organisational problem.

What you need to know first

Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification OR equivalent and relevant professional experience

English language proficiency: Academic IELTS 6.5 (minimum with no bands less than 6.0) or minimum TOEFL 100 with minimum sub-scores of 25 for international students
