What You're Signing Up For
This programme is designed for those wanting to become real estate salespersons in New Zealand. Delivered fully online over 22 weeks part-time, it covers the legal framework, marketing strategies, listing and selling processes, and essential written and oral communications for success in real estate sales. Graduates will be eligible to apply for a real estate salesperson licence as required by New Zealand legislation.
Course Content
- Fundamentals of Real Estate: understanding codes of conduct, legislation, land ownership, and related laws
- Law for Real Estate Licensees: resource management, building regulations, contract law, agency law, and land ownership titles
- Real Estate Sales and Marketing: positioning strategies, marketing plans, appraisal and listing process, agreements for sale and purchase
What you need to know first
Hold 40 credits at NCEA Level 1 (including 10 literacy credits and 10 numeracy credits)
Relevant qualification at NZQF Level 2 or equivalent
Demonstration of proficient communication skills and ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel
Access to reliable computer and high speed internet
