What You're Signing Up For

This NZQA Level 5 diploma equips you with the knowledge and skills to pursue entry-level roles in sales and marketing. You will analyse business environments, apply broad business knowledge, innovate, and ensure strong stakeholder relationships. The programme features compulsory business and specialist marketing/sales courses, and provides both local support and online learning. Upon completion, graduates can contribute to marketing decisions, use technology in marketing, apply ethical and bicultural practices, and communicate persuasively for marketing or sales outcomes.

What you need to know first

At least 16 years old at programme commencement

NCEA Level 2 or equivalent (including 8 Literacy credits at Level 2 or above, and 14 Numeracy credits at Level 1 or above), OR successful completion of an approved Level 3 (or above) qualification with relevant pathway

Physically able to complete programme-specific outcomes

Ability to read, write, and communicate in English at a basic level

Special and Discretionary admission available

Applicants for whom English is not a first language must have an IELTS score of 5.5 with no band lower than 5, or accepted international equivalence
