The Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health (DPH) is a broad-based and practical qualification consisting of four core papers and four further papers, either unendorsed or with endorsements in Epidemiology, Health Promotion, or Social Research Methods. It enables graduates to identify and understand public health issues, analyse health data, design health promotion strategies, plan public health interventions, and work collaboratively with professionals and communities.

- Core papers: Principles of Epidemiology (PUBH 711), Introduction to Public Health Policy and Systems (PUBH 712), Quantitative Research Methods (PUBH 713), Qualitative Research Methods (PUBH 714)
- Optional/endorsement papers in areas such as Epidemiology, Health Promotion, Social Research Methods, Social and Health Policy, Advanced Methods
- Papers on designing and evaluating public health interventions
