Psychology of Wellbeing Course developed by Professor Julia Rucklidge explores the science behind psychological wellbeing, focusing on boosting mental health through nutritional interventions, lifestyle changes and psychological strategies. It targets health professionals, HR professionals, managers, teachers, and parents seeking to improve wellbeing and resilience using research-based approaches.

Course Content

  • Module 1: Introduction to wellbeing and the role of psychology
  • Module 2: What makes us happy?
  • Module 3: Psychological traps to wellbeing
  • Module 4: Faulty thinking and how to beat it
  • Module 5: Values, strengths and behaviour
  • Assessments: 4 module quizzes (20%), 4 reflection activities (40%), 1 final report (40%)

What you need to know first

If under 20 years old, University Entrance or equivalent required

If 20 or older, eligible based on 20+ admission with NZ or Australian citizenship or residence visa

Confident in listening, reading and writing in English
