Basic Musicianship
Read and write music to an elementary level and develop core musicianship skills.
What You're Signing Up For

- Contemporary Music Writing: Composition and arranging tasks using music theory
- Music Industry Studies: Introduction to the music, audio and related industries
- Electronic Music Production 1: Using Digital Audio Workstation to create music and sound
What you need to know first
Applicants should be 16 years or older and have successfully completed NCEA Level 1 or equivalent, with at least eight credits at NCEA Level 1 in English.
Mature applicants (20+) considered on work/industry experience.
May require audition covering instrumental/vocal skills, music theory literacy (Grade 1 level).
