The Bachelor of Performing Arts (BPA) at Otago is a three-year (360 point) degree for those wishing to study music, theatre, and dance in a blended programme. The degree provides both practical training and theoretical understanding across performing arts, including opportunities for specialisation and optional minors outside the core fields. Applicants for certain music specialisations must audition. Graduates are well positioned for a range of performing and creative careers, education, media, and postgraduate study.
