  • SCIEN270: Preparation for the Professional Workplace – skills identification, CV preparation, interview technique, organisational structures, self-assessment tools, professional behaviour
  • SCIEN300: Science Communication in Society and the Workplace – verbal/written/visual communication, interacting with media, numerical data presentation, dealing with controversial topics
  • SCIEN371: Science Work Placement – minimum 300-hour work placement in a relevant scientific workplace

Currently completing or have completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in any science major from the University of Waikato or equivalent.
