What You're Signing Up For

UC's Master of Science is a flexible research-based degree comprising coursework (Part I) and a thesis or dissertation (Part II). Students can choose from more than 30 subjects including Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Computer Science, Psychology, Physics, Environmental Science and others. The degree enables students to conduct independent, original research and specialise in their chosen scientific field. Part I typically consists of advanced courses, while Part II focuses on undertaking and reporting significant original research. Graded awards of Distinction, Merit, or Honours are available. This qualification provides strong academic and career pathways in science-related sectors.
