It will take a total of 15 weeks

Demonstrate ability to create advanced 2D engineering drawings and complex 3D models using CAD software.

Set up and configure a professional CAD environment suitable for advanced engineering projects.

Accurately perform and apply tolerance calculations to engineering drawings.
This part-time Level 4 course is designed for those already working in engineering or who have completed Level 3 CAD studies. Gain advanced skills in using specialist CAD software (SolidWorks) to produce high-end models, prepare CAD environments, and perform tolerance calculations. Classes are delivered in the evenings and combine on-campus tutorials with online learning, providing flexibility for working professionals.
What you need to know first
Currently working in the engineering or associated industries, or can demonstrate equivalent skills and knowledge.
Open entry, with preference for those with relevant industry experience or successful completion of CAD Level 3.
