Core skills this course teaches

Survival at Sea
Demonstrate competence in personal survival techniques as per STCW Table A-VI/1-1, including surviving ship abandonment.

Fire Prevention and Firefighting
Minimize fire risk, maintain readiness, and respond effectively to fire emergencies on board vessels as per STCW Table A-VI/1-2.

Medical Emergency Response
Take immediate and appropriate action in medical emergencies, including administering first aid, as per STCW Table A-VI/1-3.
