The NZ Apprenticeship in Advanced Textiles builds on prior experience in industrial textile fabrication or trimming, equipping learners with advanced technical skills, project management expertise, and leadership abilities to progress into senior roles in the industry. Learners formalise their skills, specialise in either fabrication or trimming, and receive dedicated support throughout their apprenticeship.

- Project Management & Procurement: Oversee planning, materials and production scheduling
- Planning & Estimation: Prepare accurate quotes and working drawings
- Material & Hardware Selection: Choose components for performance and durability
- Specialisation in Industrial Fabrication: Advanced pattern development, welding, cutting, large-scale construction
- Specialisation in Industrial Trimming: Detailed pattern making, precision trimming, high-end finishing techniques

Employed in an industrial textiles fabrication environment
Minimum of 16 years of age
