What you need to know first

Permanent residency or approval to study as domestic student

Whitireia degree academic entry requirements (or overseas equivalent)

Diploma of Nursing (Level 5) or Bachelor of Nursing (Level 7) from a Pacific nation

At least 2 years full-time equivalent work experience as a registered nurse in home country

At least 2 years' work experience in New Zealand health sector

Interview for suitability

Health screening, safety check, police vetting, and referee reports
