What You're Signing Up For
This Level 4 certificate course from the Healthcare Academy of New Zealand provides a foundation for those planning a nursing career, whether as school leavers or career changers. Students build academic and digital literacy skills and learn about healthcare systems, cultural models of care, and professional practice. The programme is fully online, with both full-time and part-time options, and is designed to support further study in health, especially nursing. It includes content on health and wellbeing in Aotearoa, cultural awareness, anatomy and physiology, and prepares learners for advanced study or support roles in the healthcare sector.

Relevant health-related Level 3 qualification OR NCEA Level 2 or equivalent OR Special Admission (if over 20 years old)
International students: IELTS 5.5 (no band lower than 5.0) or equivalent if English is a second language
Must have access to a computer/laptop, microphone, and reliable internet (mobile phones not suitable)
