What You're Signing Up For

The Master of Creative Technologies is a highly flexible, research-focused degree combining multiple technical and creative disciplines. Students tailor their study through coursework and a research thesis, exploring future-oriented themes such as animation, transmedia storytelling, performance technologies, smart textiles, digital environments, and entrepreneurship. Research projects are encouraged to have both practical and written components, aiming for innovation and commercialization of creative work.

Course Content

  • 60 points of coursework from areas such as Systems Thinking, Embodiment, Post-Material Practices, Transdisciplinary Research Methods, and special topics
  • 120-point master's research thesis within the creative technologies field
  • Elective courses may be chosen from related master's programmes (Design, Communication Studies, Business, Computer and Information Sciences) with approval
  • Thematic and technical focuses: virtual reality, transmedia storytelling, performance tech, bio feedback, smart textiles, intelligent agents, materials design, entrepreneurship

Bachelor of Creative Technologies or a relevant degree with a B grade average or higher at level 7 or above
