The Postgraduate Diploma in Rural Clinical Practice (PGDipRCP) is suitable for generalist doctors working in rural and provincial hospitals. It provides specific advanced medical skills and knowledge, complementing or extending general practice training. What you need to know first

Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (or equivalent medical qualification)

Registration for medical practice in the country in which the programme is taught

Commenced vocational training for rural hospital medicine or general practice, or at least two years approved experience in rural hospital medicine or general practice

Subject to Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Health Sciences) approval
