Students will be able to plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive public relations strategies for diverse organisations and contexts.

Students will be able to design and deliver persuasive communications, including media releases, social media content, and campaign materials tailored to target audiences.

The Public Relations major within AUT's Bachelor of Communication Studies prepares students for a dynamic career in public relations, corporate communications, and related fields. Students gain hands-on experience through participation in live campaigns and the student-run consultancy, Outside the Square. The program covers reputation and relationship management, strategic and ethical communication, use of multimedia and digital platforms, and engagement in real-world industry projects, guided by experienced faculty with strong industry connections.
