What You're Signing Up For

The MIG Welding Taster at Wintec is a one-day practical workshop for secondary school students interested in fabrication and mechanical engineering. Participants learn fundamental health and safety standards of working in a workshop and are introduced to basic MIG welding procedures. Each student completes a small fabrication and welding project to take home, providing a real-world glimpse into the tasks of a mechanical engineer.
