What You're Signing Up For
This Level 4 Certificate provides apprentices with skills in diagnosing and repairing a range of systems in light automotive engineering. Content includes workplace maintenance and safety, automotive systems, engine and fuel systems, driveline and transmission systems, climate control, vehicle safety, body control, wiring, braking, suspension, steering and wheels and tyres. Delivery is via block courses and evening classes to accommodate working students. Entry requires full-time employment in an automotive role and completion of Level 3 Certificate or equivalent knowledge.
