What You're Signing Up For
This certificate programme delivers the technical and problem solving skills required to work in mechanical engineering environments. Students learn to interpret engineering drawings and specifications, select and use appropriate materials, tools and processes, and work safely in accordance with workplace health and safety standards. The programme is delivered part-time to people employed in the engineering and manufacturing industry and incorporates a managed apprenticeship. Graduates will possess the skills to take on greater responsibility in engineering and manufacturing businesses and have the opportunity to move into supervisory roles or establish their own businesses.
