This course covers the economic, political, societal, and ethical expectations that shape food regulatory frameworks and compliance regimes. You will gain a critical understanding of legal principles, legislative frameworks, nationally and internationally recognised standards, and conventions affecting the agrifood supply chain. The course also enables you to review how major stakeholders assure food safety and quality and respond to regulatory breaches.
