What You're Signing Up For

The Writing Made Easy programme is designed for students looking to improve their written English for study or work. Delivered online with part-time flexibility, the course consists of three modules: Grammar, Writing, and Report Writing. Each module takes approximately 20 hours in your own time and includes quizzes and self-tests. The content focuses on foundational English language skills, such as grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, writing clarity, and report formatting.

Course Content

  • Grammar: capitals, contractions, full stops, nouns, sentence structure, direct speech, commonly confused words, verbs, abbreviations, plurals, commas, subject-verb agreement
  • Writing: word groups, sentence structure, spelling, punctuation, editing, grammar errors, writing style, writing for the reader, review tests
  • Report writing: factual information, writing findings, writing conclusions, recommendations, report format, proofreading, language of reports, review tests
