What You're Signing Up For

The New Zealand Certificate in English Language (Foundation) (Level 1) helps students with very minimal or no command of English to begin learning fundamental language skills. Over 17 weeks, students develop basic comprehension and expression in reading, writing, listening, and speaking, and gain confidence for daily communication. The programme includes introduction to online learning and prepares students for further English language study.

What you need to know first

Candidates must be at least 16 years of age.
