What You're Signing Up For

The Writing Poetry (Micro-credential) introduces students to various forms and styles of poetry writing and provides insight into the Aotearoa poetry community. The course covers defining poetry, techniques for inspiration, poetic form and structure, contemporary and historical poetry, as well as the art of critiquing and editing. By course completion, students produce their own poetry portfolio and gain experience in constructive feedback and literary analysis.
