What You're Signing Up For

The Te Reo Māori Intermediate course at UCOL is ideal for people with some knowledge of Te Reo Māori who wish to advance their language skills. Participants will learn about Māori customs and protocols, traditional and contemporary, while enhancing basic conversational abilities in Te Reo. The part-time, 10-week programme offers classes across multiple campuses and is suitable for those looking to deepen their understanding of Māori language and culture.

What you need to know first

Some basic knowledge of Te Reo Māori

Completion of Te Reo Māori for Beginners or equivalent, or oral and face-to-face assessment with programme lecturer or leader

For non-native English speakers: equivalent to IELTS Academic 5.5 overall, with no sub-score less than 5
