What You're Signing Up For
This 19-week blended programme aims to help learners participate with increasing independence and fluency in academic and employment English language contexts. The certificate develops reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills necessary for continued study or use of English language in the workplace.
Course Content
- Reading Level 3 Applied: Understanding and responding to a range of familiar texts.
- Writing Level 3 Applied: Composing connected texts for familiar purposes with reasonable accuracy.
- Listening Level 3 Applied: Comprehending main points and details in conversations and interviews.
- Speaking Level 3 Applied: Exchanging personal information and opinions with coherence and confidence.
What you need to know first
New Zealand Certificate in English Language (General) (Level 3) or equivalent skills and knowledge such as IELTS 5.0 from a single test report form.
For learners already in New Zealand, a diagnostic test may be used to identify the appropriate study level.
