What You're Signing Up For
The New Zealand Certificate in English Language (Academic) (Level 4) is designed for learners who wish to pursue further academic study where English is the language of instruction. The programme develops the language skills necessary to communicate fluently and flexibly in academic environments, enabling students to meet the English language entry requirements for diploma and degree courses. Delivered in a blended learning mode, this course includes two days per week in-class (Tuesdays and Thursdays), with the remainder of learning completed online for increased flexibility. Graduates will be able to operate independently in familiar and less-familiar academic scenarios.

New Zealand Certificate in English Language (Applied) (Level 3)
IELTS 5.5 (no band less than 5.5) or equivalent
If English requirements not met: interview and placement assessment with NZCEL tutors
