What You're Signing Up For
The New Zealand Certificate in English Language (Academic) (Level 4) is ideal for upper-intermediate English speakers seeking to further develop their English for professional or academic contexts. The qualification is nationally recognised and prepares learners for advanced study in New Zealand or onward transfer to other academic institutions. You'll learn from patient, supportive teachers in small groups, engage in native speaker interactions, and acquire essential study skills. Both full-time and part-time options are available, with delivery on campus in Dunedin or Auckland.

What you need to know first
Upper-intermediate level of English (tested on entry, may be placed at alternate level than applied for)
OR New Zealand University Entrance
OR Academic IELTS 5.5 (in one test completed in last two years)
OR Acceptable alternative internationally recognised English proficiency evidence
