This programme equips learners with intermediate skills in English suitable for general communication. Students will develop confidence and competence in reading, writing, listening and speaking, enabling them to cope with most situations in an English-speaking country. What you need to know first

Applicants must be at least 16 years old at programme start.

Basic ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Physically able to complete programme outcomes.

For non-native English speakers: IELTS 5.0 or 5.5 (see details) or recognised international equivalence.

Completion of New Zealand Certificate in English Language (Level 2) or equivalent, or placement test if applicable.
