What You're Signing Up For

This programme is designed to help you grow your ability to understand and use increasingly complex Te Reo Māori language patterns. You will engage in face-to-face classes, online activities, and live-in wānanga, enabling you to gain confidence in speaking and participating in a Māori-speaking environment. The programme is intended to support participation in both everyday and professional situations, and includes cultural experiences to deepen your language community ties.

What you need to know first

NCEA Level 2 including 12 credits Te Reo Māori OR

NZ3045 Te Pokaitahi Reo (Rumaki, Reo Rua) (Te Kaupae 3) NZ Certificate in Te Reo Māori (Level 3) or equivalent

Alternative: Evidence of equivalent skills via work, life, or study experience
