What You're Signing Up For

The NZ Diploma in IT Technical Support (Level 5) equips students with the knowledge and practical skills to work in IT support roles. The programme covers computer network principles, programming, technology in society, operating systems, web design, database applications, security fundamentals, IT support and service management. It prepares for international certifications including CompTIA A+, Cisco CCNA, and ITIL Foundation. The programme includes 80 hours of work placement, is delivered blended or online from Auckland CBD, and is typically completed in one academic year.

What you need to know first

Open entry with interview

Recommended qualification in IT or Computing at Level 3 or 4 or above

NCEA Level 2 or 3 or overseas high school certificate

Access to a laptop or desktop with internet connection and minimum screen size 10 inches

International students require IELTS Academic 5.5 with no band less than 5.0 or NZCEL Level 4 or equivalent, valid visa and insurance
