It will take a total of 6 months

Students will develop the ability to critically examine and reflect upon significant problems and issues facing the health sciences sector.

Students will enhance their understanding of current theories, research, and practices in health science relevant to their profession.

Graduates will be well prepared for advanced postgraduate study, including the Postgraduate Diploma, Master's, or Doctoral programmes in Health Sciences.
The Postgraduate Certificate in Health Sciences (PGCertHealSc) is designed for health professionals and others interested in the health sector, providing them the opportunity to critically examine a range of significant issues in health science and improve their professional practice. This 60-point programme can be completed in 6 months full-time (or up to 2 years part-time), acts as a pathway to further postgraduate study, and allows flexible selection of health science courses.
