UC’s Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Teaching (PGCertCT) is designed for health professionals who supervise, coach, and support learning in clinical settings. The programme equips participants with the skills to be effective clinical educators, establish professional identity, and gain leadership skills as clinical supervisors both within their profession and as part of interprofessional teams. The qualification includes preparatory work towards research or educational projects based in practice, exposure to networks of health professional educators, and engagement with contemporary literature in clinical education. The programme is delivered in collaboration with local District Health Boards and regional education providers.
